I have been handling estate liquidations for about 5 years in addition to aquiring antiques, household furnishings and collectibles for over 10 years and selling these items in a retail establishment in Ohio. Having developed a good understanding of the market for these items, moving to assisting those with their estate liquidation needs was a natural progression. What began as a hobby for me has turned into something bigger. I recently moved to Jacksonville and will strive to get you the best result.

What are your rates/ prices for services?
Depends on what you want, our typical customer is either a downsizer or someone who has inherited a property with contents. In order to sell the house, the contents need to be removed, so we can help you with that. What we do is assess the contents of the house, determine the likely value of the items and give you a price to conduct an estate sale. That price will depend on the quantity and quality of the items for sale as that will dictate the staffing needs for the sale.
How does an estate sale work?
The Estate sale occurs over a three or four day period, typically Thursday through Sunday, at which our staff will conduct the estate sale. Typically we would research values, set prices and tag each item, take pictures and then post them on Estate sale websites. These websites allow interested customers to view the items for sale. Staff would handle the sale, being careful to safeguard valuable items, collect receipts the day of the sale, making sure that the premises are safeguarded.
Will everything get sold?
Depends on several factors, the quality of the merchandise, pricing,the weather which affects foot traffic, but typically you can expect 50%-60% of the items to be sold. Typically there is an increasing % discount on items through the sale, culminating in 50% off on items not sold on the last day. Keep in mind you are selling the entire contents of the house in 4 days.
